Enhancing Droptop: Your Feedback, Our Action Plan

A few weeks ago, we asked for your thoughts on Droptop, and many of you took the time to provide valuable feedback. Below is a summary of the feedback we received and a list of actions we are going to take based on your input!

 

First, we want to thank you for the positive and encouraging notes. Here are a few:

“Keep up the good work. There is room for improvement but you are working on it and doing a great job”

 

When asked what your favorite aspects of Droptop are, you said:

• Simple and Easy to use

• Best customer service

• Easy to train technicians on the system

• Fast and up to date vehicle lookup , OEM specs and fluid capacities

• Love the ability to use it on all devices including phones

• Simplicity of Package creation and editing

• Easy to see prior services and quickly create ticket

 While we appreciate the positive feedback, the purpose of this survey was not just to pat ourselves on the back. Although many of you are satisfied with the features we offer, we are aware that there is still more we can do to make Droptop even better!

We documented all of your excellent suggestions, and here are some of the larger features you requested:

• Customer Merging – This is on the roadmap and will be available soon.

• Faster Part Fitment Lookups: We are already working on this, and we will release an update in the next few weeks that will drastically increase the speed of part fitment lookups.

• Service Reminder Options: While we already have marketing integrations like Cinch and Throttle, we recently partnered with Steer, another partner you can leverage to send service reminders.

• Texting Flexibility: This includes the ability to have canned text messages and send invoices via text whenever you like. Later this year, we will be adding texting plans that will give you more flexibility in how you send invoices and receipts.

• Unified Search: This feature will allow you to search for customers and fleets simultaneously. It is also on our roadmap for later this year.
